Park Commission: Leash signage, Heritage Tree Program, Dracena Park, Hampton Park, Wednesday, September 6
The Piedmont Park Commission will meet on Wednesday, September 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, located in City Hall, 120 Vista Avenue. The meeting will be broadcast live on cable Channel 27 and on the City’s website.
Agenda items include:
- Citywide On and Off Leash signage,
- Wall design for Dracena Park,
- Heritage Tree Program,
- Santa Lucia and Douglas fir trees in Dracena Park,
- Update on Hampton Park Maintenance

For those who followed the off leash use proposal for the upper Dracena lawn, rather than a free- standing rock wall staff is now proposing a 30 inch retaining wall be placed in the lawn. The wall will allow for 3 feet of off leash area for dog walkers. Email nkent@ci.piedmont.ca.us to see staff report or attend today’s Park Commission meeting.
