Piedmont League of Women Voters Panel on Civic Engagement

Experts Discuss Best Practices On Decision-Making – 

The Piedmont League of Women Voters will host a community-building panel discussion on “Civic Engagement” on Thursday, November 17, at City Hall Council Chambers from 7 to 9 pm.

A panel of outside experts will discuss best practices in civic engagement that inform complex decision-making, and the role and influence of media. Panelists will include Gina Bartlett from the Center for Collaborative Policy, Terry Amsler from the Institute for Local Government, Shar Etebar from SEEDS Community Resolution Center, and Susan Rasky from the University of California at Berkeley School of Journalism.

The event will be facilitated by political strategist, Larry Tramutola, and televised on KCOM.
