Opportunities to Chat with Candidates

School Board and City Council candidates hold open events.  

Candidates will be having coffees, hot chocolate chats, house parties and other events.   Check out their upcoming events here!

School Board Candidate Andrea Swenson wants you to chat with her about issues facing the PUSD.  Her website is swensonforschoolboard.com.

Place:  Hot chocolate in front of Mulberry’s Market
Date:  Thursday, December 8
Time:   5 p.m. (immediately following Budget Advisory Committee meeting on PUSD financial planning

Place:  In front of City Hall
Date:  Wednesday, December 14
Time:  6:30-7 p.m. (immediately prior to School Board meeting to discuss PUSD endeavors)

Weekend Chats with School Board Candidate Rick Raushenbush

School Board candidate and incumbent Board Vice President Rick Raushenbush will hold a series of weekend chats starting December 3, in the Havens Elementary School entry/breezeway from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. He will be there to talk with people interested in school issues. In the event of rain, the venue will be moved to 112 Pala Avenue. Dates and locations of future chats will be announced soon.

House Parties for City Council Candidate Tim Rood

City Council candidate Tim Rood’s supporters have been holding a series of “meet the candidate” events in homes around Piedmont since mid-October.  Dates and information can be found on Rood’s campaign website, www.TimRood2012.com.
