Arbor Day Celebration Friday March 30
City to Plant Cherry Trees at Teahouse-
The public is invited to the City of Piedmont annual Arbor Day celebration at the Piedmont Park Teahouse on Friday, March 30, from 4- 6 p.m.
The event will feature the planting and dedication of several cherry trees, with Emeryville Taiko, and Tim Hamano on the Shakuhachi Flute.
This event is jointly sponsored by the City of Piedmont, the Consulate General of Japan, seven Piedmont garden clubs, the Piedmont Beautification Foundation, the Alameda County Clean Water Program, Grand Lake Ace Hardware, the Tree Sculpture Group, and Cleary Brothers Landscaping.
