Unfortunately public notice for the hearing on the Athletic Facilities Preservation fund was not submitted to the local papers so the public may not be aware of this public hearing. The last staff report on the fund did not include the sports organizations in the surcharge which substantially reduced the fund’s revenue source and ability to reach levels needed to maintain athletic facilities in town. Sports organizations have been contacted to speak at the meeting. If members of the public cannot attend they should submit comments Mark Delventhal at mdelventhal@ci.piedmont.ca.us
