The Piedmont Unified School District (PUSD) has obtained a new report on its unfunded liability for retiree medical benefits. The report estimates the total required annual cost to fund this benefit will be $500,000 per year for the PUSD, which covers 280 employees. > Click to read more…

The Beach School construction project remains on schedule to be completed by August 1, 2012, despite running into costly obstacles, including the need for a new roof.
